Ingredients;
1- Puff
pastry 250 grams
2- Green
apple half kg
3- Three
quarters of a cup of sugar
4- Half a
teaspoon of ground cinnamon
5- Two
tablespoons of lemon juice
6- One
tablespoon of cornflour
7- A pinch
of lemon food color
8- Cooking
oil as required
Recipe;
1- To make
this dish first make puff pastry.
2- Melt a
cup of margarine or butter and cool it, add salt to one and a half cups of
flour and knead it with plain water and wrap it in a wet muslin cloth and keep
it for 15-20 minutes.
3- After
sprinkling dry flour, take the kneaded dough lengthwise and spread the
margarine on it, leave some part empty, fold the empty part and bring it to the
middle, then pick up the margarine on the other side. Fold it over.
4- Wrap it
in plastic and keep it in the fridge for ten to fifteen minutes.
5- Then take
it out and sprinkle dry flour and take it with a light hand and again fold it
in three parts in the same way. Do this process three to four times (each time
keep it in the fridge for some time).
6- In the
meantime, prepare the apple filling, for which peel the apple and cut it into
small pieces and sprinkle lemon juice on them.
7- Put it in
a pan and cook it on low heat and add a quarter cup of water to it, cook it on
low heat for five to seven minutes and add sugar and food color to it.
8- When
sugar syrup starts to form, sprinkle cornflour in it and mix well and take it
off the stove. When cool, sprinkle cinnamon and keep it.
9- Roll out
the prepared pastry and cut it into one-inch strips and wrap it on an aluminum
cone. Heat cooking oil in a pan and fry these cones until golden.
10- When it
cools well, take out the cones and fill them with apple filling.
11- Start with ice cream or cold fresh cream of your choice.
